WHEN WILL MY ORDER BE DISPATCHED?

If in stock, small domestic orders (1-8 Lamps), will typically be dispatched within 1-2 working days. Larger commercial quantities will typically be despatched within 5-6 days upon full payment. If your order needs to be manufactured, then the lead time would typically be 15-20 days upon receipt full payment.

 

Once your order has left our warehouse, an email notification will be sent to your email address which will include a Tracking Number and a link to track your order online. If you have not received a notification please Contact our Customer Support Team.

CAN I PRE-ORDER AN OUT OF STOCK ITEM?

You can now Pre-Order items in our store.  If the item you are looking to order is currently out of stock, then you may be given the option to pre-order the item if we know that more stock is on its way.  To do so, simply find the item you wish to order and select the Pre-Order button.

Pre-orders are subject to availability, waiting times vary from time to time. Please contact our Customer Support Team if you would like an update on your pre-order.

 

WHICH COURIER DO YOU USE?

Yes, we deliver to the following countries: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, India, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Jersey, Malta, Netherlands, New Zealand, Portugal, Russia, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom and United States of America. HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE FOR SHIPPING?

Cost all depends on location and on the type of product ordered. We offer FREE UK DELIVERY on all orders. For our international domestic customers, please use our shipping calculator here. (You must have items in your cart for it to calculate the rate) For our commercial customers, we can organise a door to door service with all the necessary paper work including certificate of origin (if required) to ensure a smooth delivery. We use DHL for all orders unless stated otherwise.

 

HOW DO I RETURN MY PRODUCT?

For all domestic customers, we are happy to accept returns for items within 28 days of order delivery as required by the Long Distance Selling Act. The returned product must be free from wear, marks or any condition that would prevent them from being sold as new. Returned items must have the original packaging enclosed and must be accompanied with a copy of the receipt. We offer you the option of exchange or refund. DO YOU OFFER DISCOUNTS ON LARGE QUANTITY ORDERS?

Yes, we can offer discounts for members of the trade such as designers, architects, contractors and hospitality managers. In addition, we may be able to offer special discounts for large volume orders. Please contact the Customer Support Team with any questions.

HOW LONG WILL MY CORDLESS LAMP BE UNDER WARRANTY FOR?

Insight Cordless Lighting warrants all products sold to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase. Insight Cordless Lighting shall repair or replace any part which is found to be defective within the warranty period.

 

This warranty does not include consumables such as battery packs or light sources (bulbs). Our battery manufacturers warrant their batteries to be free from defects in workmanship and material under normal use and service conditions for a period of one year after the date of purchase.

WHAT DO I DO IF MY PRODUCT HAS A PROBLEM DURING THE WARRANTY PERIOD?

If you experience a problem with any product you purchased from Insight Cordless Lighting that offers a manufacturer warranty, please contact the Customer Support Team. We will either facilitate a resolution or put you in contact with the manufacturer so that they might assist you directly. Here is more information about our Warranty.

 

WHERE ARE YOUR PRODUCTS DESIGNED & MANUFACTURED?

Our cordless lamps are manufactured in China and Belgium, & designed and assembled in the UK.  Each Cordless Lamp is hand assembled in the UK, ensuring the highest possible quality control standard.

 

WHATS INCLUDED WITH MY ORDER?

All Cordless Lamps will be delivered with a fully charged Lithium Ion Battery, relevant Power Adaptor and User Guide.  Induction charging pads may be sold separately dependent on quantity of lamps ordered. 

 

WHAT SIZE CHARGING PAD WOULD I NEED IF ORDERING MULTIPLE LAMPS?

This will vary depending on the Collection of lamps that you choose, please see below;

WHERE CAN I BUY YOUR CORDLESS LAMPS?

You can purchase all our products directly from our Online Store or from one of our distributors. To find a Distributer local to you, please contact us here.

 

HOW CAN I PAY FOR MY ORDER?

We accept all major credit and debit cards, PayPal and Bank Transfer.  Either place your order via the website and pay using our secure online payment system or we can provide Electronic Invoices to Commercial Clients.  Please note; American Express is accepted on our website only but NOT on our Electronic Invoice System.

 

HOW IS MY PAYMENT PROCESSED?

Our website payment provider is Stripe.  Stripe is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1, the most stringent level of certification.  All commercial clients who are invoiced via our e-invoice system, will use QuickBooks payments to authorise transactions.  All communication is done via a fully secure connection.

 

DO I NEED A CERTIFICATE OF ORIGIN?

The Certificate of Origin (CO) is a document to certify the place of manufacture of goods. It is required when exporting to specific countries, when requested by the consignee for customs clearance. This is required for every individual order shipped to the destinations listed below. The fee for Certificate of Origin is £58.20 GBP.

 

Countries requiring CO are as follow – Bahrain, Cyprus, Jordan, Kuwait, Malaysia, Thailand, UAE and Qatar.

 

All of the above countries MUST contact our Customer Support Team for Invoice.  Orders to these Countries cannot be made via our online store.

 

CAN THE CORDLESS LAMPS BE USED ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD?

Yes. Our charging pad can be used around the world. It accepts a mains input from 100V–240V. We will supply you with the correct power adaptor for your country.

 

CAN THE CORDLESS LAMPS BE USED OUTDOORS?

Yes, our cordless lamps are designed to be used both indoors and outdoors. Please check your chosen lamps specification for IP Rating.

 

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO CHARGE THE LAMP?

It will generally take between 4-6 hours to charge all our lamps. However please check the information on the product page for specific times. Recharging can be influenced by temperature and humidity. A hot ambient temperature may increase charging time.

 

WHAT IS THE LIFE EXPECTANCY OF THE BATTERY?

All of our lamps are fitted with a rechargeable Lithium Ion Battery.  These typically have a life expectancy of 1000+ charges or roughly 3 years depending on usage.  Please note; rechargeable batteries like to be charged.  Prolonged inactivity or operating in high temperature, may impair performance and shorten the battery life.

 

WHAT LIGHT SOURCE IS USED?

All our Cordless Lamps use an LED bulb.  Please check the infomration on the product page for full details on which LED bulb is included with the lamp. The LED Operating Life is estimated to last 50,000 hours for all RGB LED’s and 40,000 hours for any Warm White LED.

 

HOW SHOULD I CLEAN MY CORDLESS LAMP?

 

Glass Diffusers: Apply silicon based cleaner and wipe with soft cloth.

Plastic Diffuser & Parts: Clean with damp cloth

Stainless Steel Diffuser & Parts: Clean with damp cloth. Use stainless steel polish & cleaner to remove stains and scratches.

Lamp Bottom & Charging Base: Clean with damp cloth and take extra care to avoid liquid spills onto electrical contacts.
